Courtney Jacobson


Courtney is a JD/MBA at Wharton and Penn Law. Prior to coming to Wharton, Courtney spent four years at Deloitte Consulting, first in the Technology Consulting practice, and then in the Innovation group. She was a founding member of Deloitte Catalyst, a startup within Deloitte focused on developing the innovation ecosystem. Courtney graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obipso with a degree in Business Information Systems.

Sherraud Roberts


Before joining Wharton’s PE/VC Club Board, Sherraud was a Vice President for Soc Gen where he was a member of their Energy Investment Banking Group. While at Soc Gen, Sherraud was involved with a variety of mergers, acquisitions and debt and equity financings across the exploration and production, midstream and energy services sectors. Sherraud received his MS in Finance from the Ryan College of Business at The University of North Texas and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tarleton State University where he earned a BBA in Finance.

Vidur Gupta

SVP, Alumni Relations

Prior to Wharton, Vidur spent two years as a private equity Associate at BDT Capital Partners, a investing in businesses across sectors and capital structures. He began his career at McKinsey & Company. Vidur graduated from the University of Chicago with a BA in Economics and Political Science. Vidur interned at Viking Global this summer.

Andrew Yates

SVP, Competitions

Andrew is an MBA candidate at the Wharton School, studying Entrepreneurship and Finance. Prior to Wharton, Andrew was an Associate in RBC’s Financial Institutions and FinTech investment banking coverage teams, advising on deals ranging from blue-chip community banking mergers to raising capital for FinTech startups. Prior to RBC, he worked in Capital Planning at M&T Bank through their Management Development Program. He has a B.A. from Hamilton College (‘15) and enjoys distance running, hiking, fine wines and vegetarian cooking.

Xiufang Zhao

SVP, Competitions

Xiufang is majoring in finance and real estate. She was an in-semester intern with Fosun International, a global principal investor with $109bn AUM, listed in Hong Kong. Worked as a lighting consultant in New York City prior to school, project manager for LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art), 30 Rockefeller Plaza, and Bangalore International Airport.

Rodrigo González Castellanos

SVP, Content

Rodrigo González Castellanos is a second-year MBA student at The Wharton School focused on the intersection between innovation, technology, finance, and marketing. This summer, Rodrigo will be an MBA Associate at Greenspring Associates, a venture capital firm. Prior to Wharton, Rodrigo was an Associate at Teneo, a global CEO advisory firm. Rodrigo began his career at Verdis Investment Management, a single family office where he focused on real estate and natural resources investment sourcing, due diligence, and management. Rodrigo is a graduate of the School of Foreign Service of Georgetown University.

Sophia Kim

SVP, Diversity & Inclusion

Sophia is a second-year MBA student at Wharton. Prior to Wharton, Sophia was an Associate at the direct private equity group of Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, where she focused on investments across diversified industrials and business services sectors. Sophia graduated with high distinction from the University of Toronto with a B.Com. in Finance & Economics and is a CFA charterholder.

Amanda Young

SVP, Content

Prior to Wharton, Amanda was a Management Associate at Bridgewater Associates, where she worked on strategic and operational initiatives for the CEOs. She also spent her Pre-MBA summer at The Chernin Group focused on sourcing and evaluating growth equity investments. Amanda received her B.A. magna cum laude from Dartmouth College. She is spending her MBA spring/summer working for growth equity firm Summit Partners and venture-backed startup Goldin Auctions.

Satoshi Ozawa

SVP, International

Prior to Wharton, Satoshi was leading Series-B fundraising and development of go-to-market strategy for a startup based in the US and Africa. By directly working with the Founder/CEO and successfully executing the milestones, the startup raised over $30 million from leading venture capital firms and strategic players. Previously, he was one of the founding members of Japan’s first industrial sector focused private equity fund with $1bn AUM and invested in the US, Europe and Asia. Co-Host of Podcast called “Ventures in the East” and Tweet @ZachinAfrica.

Bryan Dasrath

SVP, Social

Bryan Dasrath is currently a first-year MBA student. He was previously a senior private equity associate at Northern Pacific Group where he sourced and evaluated private equity investments with $10-100 million of revenue and $1-10 million of EBITDA. Prior to Northern Pacifc Group, Bryan was a healthcare investment banking analyst at Piper Jaffray. He worked with a variety of public and private companies including orthopedic, cardiology, dental, aesthetic, ophthalmology and contract manufacturing companies in the medical device sector. Bryan received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota.

Patrick Wilkey

SVP, Social

Patrick is a 2Y MBA from Houston, TX. Prior to Wharton, he served as an Associate at Turnbridge Capital Partners, a middle-market PE firm. Prior to Turnbridge, he served as an Analyst at Credit Suisse in the Global Energy investment banking group. He began his career as an Analyst at GulfStar Group, a middle-market investment bank. Patrick received a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, and enjoys running, listening to classic rock and following the Astros.

Harshit Sohu

SVP, Treks

Harshit Sohu is a second year MBA student at Wharton. For Before Wharton, he was a Senior Associate with General Atlantic, a global growth-focused private equity firm, supporting the firm’s technology investment efforts across US, India, and South East Asia. Prior to that, he did a stint with a mid-market private equity firm focused on after completing the investment banking analyst program. Harshit graduated from the University of Mumbai with a Bachelors in Engineering. For the summer, Harshit interned at the technology group of Permira’s Growth Opportunities Fund.

Ryan Johnson

SVP, Treks

Prior to attending business school, Ryan was an Associate at Apollo Global Management. Earlier in his career, Ryan worked as an Analyst in the investment banking division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Ryan received his BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University.

Shreyas Kataria

SVP, PE Career Development

Shreyas is a member of Wharton’s MBA class of 2022. Prior to enrolling at Wharton, Shreyas was a senior associate at Bertram Capital, a middle-market PE firm in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to Bertram, Shreyas was an associate at H.I.G. Capital in their lower middle-market LBO fund team. Shreyas began his career at Jefferies in New York City as an investment banking analyst in the global mergers & acquisitions group.

Nick Piccone

SVP, PE Career Development

Nick Piccone is a second-year MBA who interned at Elliott Management during the summer of 2021. Before Wharton, Nick was an Associate at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice. Prior to that, he was an Analyst at Evercore in the Media & Information Group. Nick has a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University.

Alex Carbone

SVP, PE Education

Alexander Carbone is an MBA Candidate at The Wharton School (Class of 2022). Previously, he was a management consultant with Deloitte’s strategy practice, Monitor Deloitte, based in Toronto, Canada. His work focused on serving clients in the financial services industry across strategy, innovation, operations and technology. He also served as the Chief of Staff for Financial Services Consulting at Deloitte Canada. Alexander holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, having graduated with the highest academic standing in his class. During this time, Alexander was a recipient of the national Futures Fund CEO of the Year Scholarship, recognizing academic and extracurricular achievement.

Andrew Hosbein

SVP, PE Career Development

Andrew is currently a 2Y MBA Candidate in the Health Care Management Program. Prior to Wharton, he worked in strategy and business development at EyeCare Services Partners, an ophthalmology services platform (Harvest Partners-backed). Previously, he spent two years each at Avista Capital Partners (healthcare private equity) and Baird (consumer investment banking). He earned a BBA in Finance and Chinese from the University of Notre Dame.

Trent Holbrook

SVP, PE Speaker Series

Trent Holbrook is a rising second year at The Wharton School. Prior to Wharton, Trent served as an Associate on the investment team at Eden Capital, a middle market private equity firm in New York. He also spent two years as an Analyst at Citi, where he was part of the M&A investment banking group in New York. Trent holds an M.S. in Commerce from the University of Virginia.

Bryan Tisdale

SVP, PE Speaker Series

Originally from El Paso, Texas, Bryan Tisdale graduated from the University of Chicago with honors and was a four-year NCAA football athlete. Bryan subsequently joined JP Morgan investing on behalf of institutional and high-net worth individuals as a buy-side equities analyst on the Specialized Strategies Team. He then joined Lindsay Goldberg, a $14bn+ AUM middle-market private equity fund based in New York. Before attending Wharton, Bryan took on a secondment assignment in Corporate Development and Strategy with a Lindsay Goldberg portfolio company, Creation Technologies.

Felix Duan

SVP, VC Career Development

Growing up, Felix split his time between Vienna, Austria and San Diego, CA. Felix worked at DaVita and ZS Associates prior to Wharton. Post-MBA, he is looking to pursue a career in healthcare VC or growth equity. In his free time he enjoys golfing, skiing, watching the LA Lakers, collecting watches, and trying out new whiskeys.

James Schecter

SVP, VC Career Development

I’m born and raised in downtown Philly and spent my first few years in the real world in NYC doing IB at Citi then PE at Lee Equity. My work experiences span from cancer immunotherapy to Las Vegas nightlife, FinTech to digital health, aerospace to cosmetics, and beyond. I have been immersed in the VC and entrepreneurship ecosystem since my undergrad days, and I’m actively working to build my own VC portfolio (currently includes several late-stage enterprise SaaS companies as well as three angel and/or seed-stage investments).

Dave Hafford

SVP, VC Education

Dave is a student at Wharton graduating in 2022. Prior to coming to Business School, Dave invested in consumer and technology companies in NYC as part of a VC / growth equity fund called Platform Ventures. In addition, Dave acted as the Interim CFO at Shadowbox, an NYC based boutique fitness studio concept. Prior to that, Dave worked in the investment banking division of Stifel, advising consumer and retail companies on various transactions in the middle market.

Himanshu Sharma

SVP, VC Career Development

I grew up in India and have a background in computational biology. I had been working in the field of Personalized Medicine in Boston for 8 year prior to Wharton. During the past year, I interned at Point 72 Ventures, AV8 Ventures, and NorthPond Ventures in Healthcare AI investing.

Nigel Coelho

SVP, VC Speaker Series

Nigel Coelho is a 2Y MBA at Wharton. He was previously an investment partner at First Round Capital’s Dorm Room Fund. His operational experience includes product marketing and sales roles at SAP. He also spent time as a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting, helping Fortune 500 clients through their digital transformations.

Aimee Xu

SVP, VC Speaker Series

Aimee is a 2Y Wharton/Lauder student and her role on PE/VC Board is VP of Speaker Series for VC. For her summer 2021 internship, Aimee will be interning True Beauty Ventures, a beauty-focused VC fund. Prior to Wharton, Aimee spent two years as an investment associate at Goode Partners, a consumer-focused growth equity fund based in NYC. Before Goode, she spent two years as an analyst in the Consumer & Retail investment banking group at J.P. Morgan. Aimee graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flagler Business School.
